Polop, also known as "Polop de la marina" is a town a little further north of La Nucia. It is approximately 11 kilometres from Benidorm and 8 km Altea.
To reach the airport of El Altet (Alicante), it makes the best way is to go to Benidorm and then take the A-7 to the airport, taking the route about 55 minutes in total.

Polop in the past was an Aragonese noble barony and now has become a quiet town, full of land where people go to spend the weekend in their cottages and enjoy the charms of an interior village and, of course, to drink and collect natural spring water from the fountains.

Regarding the real estate world we can say that the prices are not as high as down on the coast and is definitely worth a visit to see what Polop has to offer because it has a lot of lovely houses and new developments
